REBEL 3199 Mecha guide, part 1

Space Battleship Yamato
Third Remodeled Type, painted to commemorate the War Medal Awarding Ceremony

After the “Iscandar Incident,” Yamato returned and was awarded the War Medal. This was to commemorate the fact that she was the only Earth battleship to engage three different opponents in battle: Garmillas, Gatlantis, and Dezarium, achieving great results and returning safely.

When the Earth government organized the decoration ceremony for Yamato, they placed three lines on the tips of the main and secondary gun barrels as a symbol of her participation in each of those battles, and gave each squadron an anchor mark as a medal motif. This anchor mark was created by adding three rings to the space navy’s emblem to signify the award of a war medal, and is also called the Yamato mark.

There was talk of Yamato as a commemorative ship even after its return from Iscandar, but it was refurbished under the Wave-Motion Gun fleet concept, including reactivation of its Wave-Motion Gun, and even after the end of the Gatlantis campaign, it remained part of an intergalactic navigation fleet. The ship continued in active service, including being renovated to serve as a flagship. The award was intended to praise Yamato‘s achievements, and at the same time as a way to force Yamato‘s retirement from the front lines. Yamato was transferred to the reserve fleet, and after that, she was scheduled to be used for various tests.

Chapter 2 update:

However…this was an order from Todo, the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Forces, in preparation for Dezarium’s invasion of Earth.

The transfer of the disbanded members of the 65th Escort Squadron and the concealment of Yamato were both part of “Operation DAD,” and Yamato was being modified at the Icarus Observatory under the command of Lieutenant Commander Shiro Sanada, to be upgraded with further new equipment, so that it could become the core of the Commander’s Special Task Force.

Icarus Observatory

The Icarus Observatory was built during the Inner Planet War. It was a permanent space base built by the United Nations authorities under the pretext of space observation, but in reality it was one of the fleet bases of the UN Space Navy in preparation for the war against Mars, and it had a maintenance dock inside.

After the Garmillas War, it was abandoned due to changes in Earth’s defense strategy, but Todo and his team decided to use it as part of Operation DAD to conceal and remodel Yamato. However, since the maintenance dock was designed to be the size of an older generation ship, expansion work such as excavating the bedrock inside the asteroid is being carried out.

In addition, since the Icarus Observatory was a facility that had been virtually abandoned, it was assumed that the area around the dock would be blown up when Yamato was launched. This was also a measure to prevent information about the remodeling from reaching the Dezarium side.

Wave Cartridge Bullet

Wave Cartridge Bullet (official name: Type 7 Wave Resonance Bullet) is one of the new armaments installed on Yamato after modification at Icarus Observatory. It was developed with the aim of neutralizing and penetrating phase conversion armor, especially armor with wave-dissipating capabilities of the Goruba class, and detonating it inside the enemy.

The format is a quantum fusion adhesive grenade. Structurally, it consists of a bullet body and a cartridge case, and when fired inside the turret, a simple wave core called a “wave resonance type quantum field compressed microwave core (microwave core)” is pressed into the bullet body from the cartridge case. When the wave cartridge bullet hits the target, it offsets the kinetic energy with the phase conversion armor, and the warhead is adsorbed and contacted with the armor surface.

Immediately after, the microwave core inside the bullet body relays a special resonance wave from Yamato‘s original wave core, and by violently vibrating the six-dimensional membrane surface of the extra dimension around the bullet body, it generates wave energy comparable to a Wave-Motion Gun.

To counter this energy wave, the phase conversion armor generates an anti-phase wave, which causes the phase of the armor to reach equilibrium. At this point, the warhead penetrates the contact surface, which nullifies the phase conversion armor’s wave-dissipating ability, and detonates inside the armor. It was first used against Goruba Enam, which attacked the Icarus Observatory, and demonstrated its power in destroying it.

The warhead itself is a miniaturized version of the conventional Wave-Motion excavation bullet, down to the size of the Type 3 Fusion Bullet, and reflects the technology of the condenser prototype bullet that was being researched and developed as of 2202.

Chapter 3 update:

After the participation medal award ceremony, the military documents stated that the Space Battleship Yamato had been incorporated into the reserve fleet and set sail on a training voyage. However, this was an order from Todo, the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Forces, in preparation for Dezarium’s invasion of Earth. The transfer of the disbanded members of the 65th Escort Squadron and the concealment of Yamato were both part of “Operation DAD” and modifications were being made at the Icarus Observatory under the command of Lieutenant Commander Shiro Sanada, to be upgraded with further new equipment, so that it could become the core of the Commander’s Special Task Force.

At the time of the voyage to Iscandar in 2205, Yamato had undergone its third remodeling in preparation for its role as the flagship of the intergalactic fleet. One notable aspect of this was the extensive remodeling of the second hangar to accommodate large vessels. As a result, the number of aircraft on board Yamato was reduced, but the plan was for the fleet’s aircraft carriers to make up for this (the 65th Escort Squadron was accompanied by two ships, the supply carrier Asuka and the combat carrier Hyuga).

In Operation DAD, the plan was for Yamato to have the same formation, but only Asuka was able to join up at Icarus Observatory, and Hyuga was unable to leave Earth. In addition, taking into consideration subsequent developments in the situation, Commander Yamanami decided to head to the space-time node alone with Yamato, and to act separately from Asuka. At this time, in order to expand Yamato‘s air power, some of the Cosmo Pythons on board Asuka were transferred along with a spare aircraft (the Cosmo Hound, which had been installed on Asuka, was transferred immediately after the Icarus Observatory takeoff. This was done because the Cosmo Hound had been designated as Yamato‘s ship from the beginning).

Due to the modifications carried out at Icarus Observatory, Yamato was equipped with new wave cartridge ammunition as armament and an Omni-directional radar room as new equipment. These are based on the special resonance waves emitted by the Iscandarian pure wave core that Yamato installed in the wave engine, and are special equipment unique to Yamato.

In addition, the omnidirectional radar room was finalized after launch, and would demonstrate its capabilities in battles in the Orfe Region and in searches for missing persons inside subspace gates.

Wave Cartridge Bullet (update)

The Wave Cartridge Bullet is a quantum fusion adhesive grenade developed specifically for the purpose of neutralizing and penetrating phase conversion armor, especially armor with the wave-dissipating capabilities of the Goruba class, and detonating it inside the enemy.

When the wave cartridge bullet hits the target, it offsets the kinetic energy with the phase conversion armor, and the warhead is adsorbed and amkes contact with the armor surface. Immediately after, the microwave core inside the bullet body relays a special resonance wave from Yamato‘s original wave core, generating wave energy.

At this point, the wave energy itself is comparable to that of a Wave-Motion Gun, but functions by violently vibrating the six-dimensional membrane surface of the extra dimension around the bullet body, and it does not involve the continuous evaporation of micro black holes that accompanies the chain expansion of the extra dimension.

Omnidirectional Radar Room

This system, located between the fifth and sixth decks of the bridge section, is designed to allow the operator to intuitively grasp the situation around the ship, and is a prototype of a two-way perception/sensing interface that uses a spherical screen and spatial projection technology. It uses advanced augmented reality that directly stimulates the operator’s perceptions and five senses, and visualizes gravity and dimensional quakes to realize a centralized information management system.

It has also been discovered that it is sensitive to the special resonance waves that are generated when the pure wave core is brought into a critical state, and exhibits a greater ability to search for enemies than expected. When a special resonance wave is generated, it is able to detect beings in deeper places, not only in normal space but also in subspace, with a sensitivity greater than that of normal radar. However, the relationship between the special resonance waves and the omnidirectional radar room system has not been clarified, and it is positioned as a special equipment unique to Yamato.

Asuka-class supply carrier Asuka

With the mass production of ships of the same type as Asuka, the Asuka-class ship class became official within the military. Asuka was originally designated as “modified Dreadnought Asuka-class supply carrier,” but was more conveniently called the “modified Dreadnought Asuka-class.” This is due to the fact that Asuka, along with Hyuga, was constructed under the 4th Defense Plan, which advocated a peaceful policy.

For mass production, it was decided that Asuka would be built to primarily function as an amphibious assault ship on a trial basis. Ordinarily, a new class of amphibious assault ships would have been created in accordance with the 4th National Defense Plan, but the ship was officially constructed as a supply carrier under the Asuka-class mass production plan. For this reason, the Asuka-class is basically a supply carrier type, but also has an amphibious assault ship type.

Additionally, even though it is a supply carrier type, the mass-produced ship has internal structure differences from the first Asuka. For example, Asuka was designed to carry 40-meter-class spacecraft, and had a large storage space in its hull, but this was abolished in the mass-produced version.

Since the first Asuka was a supply carrier, odd numbers are assigned to supply carrier types, and even numbers are assigned to amphibious assault ships.

Chapter 3 revision:

The Asuka-class supply carrier Asuka, along with the Hyuga-class battleship carrier Hyuga, was constructed under the 4th Defense Plan, which advocated a peaceful policy. It is based on a supply carrier type, with an amphibious assault ship type also existing. Since it was constructed by repurposing a Dreadnought class that was under construction in the abandoned time fault, the ship class was originally designated as “modified Dreadnought Asuka-class supply carrier,” but was more conveniently called the “modified Dreadnought Asuka-class.” But due to the mass production of the same type of ship, the Asuka-class became an official class within the military.

During mass production, ships were also built that primarily functioned as an amphibious assault ship, which had been experimentally incorporated. Since the first ship, the Asuka, was a supply carrier, odd numbers were assigned to the supply carrier type and even numbers to the amphibious assault ship type. The mass-produced ship has internal structure differences from the first Asuka. For example, Asuka was designed to carry 40-meter-class spacecraft, and has a large storage space in its hull, but this was abolished in the mass-produced version.

Asuka‘s defining feature as a supply ship is a system called the Wave Resonance Guide. This equipment is the result of Cosmo Reverse research on the Wave Experimental Ship Ginga, and has a practical energy supply function. The active wave resonance waves emitted from the Wave Resonance Guide on the bow and sides of the ship promote the deployment of excess dimensions in the target ship’s wave engine core, rapidly increasing the output of the degraded wave engine and restoring energy. This function is also used to supply energy to the Wave Barrier Bullet (Type 4 Wave Barrier Deployment Bullet).

Chapter 2 update:

When the Grand Reverse invaded the solar system, the Asuka-class supply ship Asuka intercepted it in the inner planet orbit along with 7 other Asuka-class ships. However, the operation to stop it using multiple wave barrier bullets ended in failure, and the anti-Dezarium operation “Operation DAD” moved to the next phase. Asuka was given the task of retrieving the crew of the former 65th Escort Squadron on Earth.

The experimental dimensional submarine Cosmo Hound, which had been on board since its test operation, played a part in this mission, picking up Lieutenant Commander Susumu Kodai and others from the Presidential Palace. After that, Asuka frequently traveled by warp within the solar system to evade Dezarium’s pursuit. At Icarus Observatory, she joined up with Commander Yamanami, commander of the Special Task Force under the Director General’s direct control. At this time, the Cosmo Hound was housed in the second hangar, which had been expanded during Yamato‘s third remodeling.

Also, when Asuka picked up the crew of the 11th Escort Squadron near the 11th Planet and returned to Earth, some of the Cosmo Pythons on board were transferred to Yamato along with the spares. This was a measure to boost the air power of Yamato, which was now operating as a single ship.

Chapter 3 update:

After returning to Earth, Asuka launched an attack to support the withdrawal of the partisans who had infiltrated the Grand Reverse.

Active wave resonance wave and suppressive wave resonance wave

>

Wave energy is generated by the vibrations of extra dimensions, and causes a resonance phenomenon (wave resonance) with surrounding extra dimensions. There are two types of resonance waves: “active wave resonance waves” and “suppressive wave resonance waves.”

Active wave resonance waves propagate and amplify vibrations to the surrounding area, creating a high-energy state. The function of active wave resonance waves is used for wave barrier bullets and the supply of energy to other ships by wave resonance guide devices (promoting the expansion of extra dimensions in the wave engines of other ships). In addition, when wave cartridge bullets hit or when a wave gun is fired, an increase in active wave resonance waves is caused.

Suppressive wave resonance wave is a wave that acts in the direction of suppressing the vibration of extra dimensions. This is caused by an interference phenomenon in which the wave resonances vibrate in opposite phases and cancel out the vibrations of the extra dimensions. Suppressive wave resonance waves are used in wave resonance minefields that are laid out appropriately within the solar system, and the engines of ships that utilize the deployment of extra dimensions are shut down through the suppressive wave resonance phenomenon.

Hyuga-class battleship carrier Hyuga

With the start of construction of Hyuga-type ships, the Hyuga-class was officially established within the military organization.

Hyuga was originally designated as “modified Dreadnought Hyuga-class supply carrier,” but was more conveniently called the “modified Dreadnought Hyuga-class.” This is due to the fact that Hyuga, along with Asuka, was constructed under the 4th Defense Plan, which advocated a peaceful policy. But with the current state, rife with frequent invasions of territorial waters by the Bolar Federation, the Earth Defense Force’s defense policy is in disarray and subject to change.

Just as Asuka‘s amphibious assault type was built under the classification of mass-produced supply carriers, the construction of Hyuga‘s second ship and the newly created Hyuga-class would be carried out by the Earth Defense Forces. This was a realistic response.

Total length: 295m

Armament:
Dimensional wave implosion emitter (a.k.a. Wave-Motion Gun) × 1

Six large energy cannons × 1
and many others

Chapter 2 update:

The Hyuga-class battleship Hyuga was part of the 28th Escort Squadron in Mars orbit to intercept the Grand Reverse’s invasion of the solar system. Along with the Andromeda-class space battleship and the Dreadnought-class main battleship, Hyuga used a Dispersion Wave-Motion Gun against the Grand Reverse, but they were powerless against the phase shift armor, allowing it to break through the defense line.

With the shift to “Operation DAD,” Hyuga separated from the other ships of the 28th Escort Squadron and was given the mission of retrieving the crew of the former 65th Escort Squadron on Earth. After retrieval, it was to head to Icarus Observatory and play a part in the special mission force directly under the Director-General. But during the mission, Hyuga was captured by the Dezarium fleet and the mission ended in failure.

Chapter 3 update:

Hyuga was built as a “combat carrier” based on the concept of a multi-functional composite standard battleship that could function as a battleship and a spacecraft/aircraft carrier. Originally, like the Asuka-class supply carrier Asuka, it was a repurposed unmanned Dreadnought class battleship that was under construction in the abandoned time fault. Since its construction was carried out under the 4th Defense Plan, which advocated a peaceful policy, it was not given an independent class and was called the “Modified Dreadnought Class.” In military documents it is designated as the “modified Dreadnought Hyuga-class.” However, in response to frequent invasions of territorial waters by the Bolar Federation, the Earth Defense Force’s defense policy became more realistic, and with the construction of a second ship, the “Hyuga Class” was created.

The name “aircraft carrier” comes from the classification used by the United Nations during the time before the Garmillas War. In the past, small spacecraft were broadly divided into “spacecraft” of the space ship type and “aircraft” of the space aircraft type. Aircraft, which have the range of operation of both atmospheric aircraft and spacecraft in outer space, rapidly developed during the Inner Planet War. As of 2207, aircraft are classified as “spacecraft” like space reconnaissance aircraft, but when it came to building a full-scale “aircraft carrier,” the Space Force, which developed from the Air Force, requested that the Space Navy call them aircraft carriers as the official name.

By the way, the Garmillas military, which has a long history as an interstellar nation, has many aircraft that can be operated both inside and outside an atmosphere, and there is no strict distinction between aircraft and spacecraft as on Earth, so they are all lumped together as “spacecraft.”

The Hyuga-class battleship Hyuga was part of the 28th Escort Squadron in Mars orbit to intercept the Grand Reverse’s invasion of the solar system. Along with the Andromeda-class space battleship and the Dreadnought-class main battleship, Hyuga used a Dispersion Wave-Motion Gun against the Grand Reverse. Unlike Asuka, which was commissioned at the same time, Hyuga is equipped with a Wave-Motion Gun based on the Dreadnought-class modified ship on the bow. However, this attack was ineffective against the phase conversion armor of the Grand Reverse, allowing it to break through the defense line.

The 12.5cm twin positron shock turrets on both sides are the same type as the triple positron shock turrets installed on patrol ships during the Gatlantis War.

After the order for “Operation DAD” was issued, Hyuga separated from the other ships of the 28th Escort Squadron and was given the mission of retrieving the crew of the former 65th Escort Squadron on Earth. After retrieval, it was to head to Icarus Observatory and play a part in the special mission force directly under the Director-General. But during the mission, Hyuga was captured by the Dezarium fleet and the mission ended in failure.

Wave Experimental Ship Ginga

Ginga has completed its role in the restoration of the moon and is currently working on restoring Saturn in the “Sea of Torment” in Saturn’s former orbit. In the waters off Saturn, where a fierce battle once took place between the Gatlantis fleet and Earth’s Wave-Motion Gun fleet, Gatlantis’ large antimatter missiles and Earth’s Wave-Motion Guns were used in battle. Severe damage was caused when the White Comet appeared using a phase transition dimensional jump.

Four years have passed since the end of the Gatlantis War, and the sea around Saturn is still far from what it once was. As the core of the Saturn restoration fleet, Ginga is working to collect Saturn’s constituent materials scattered in the surrounding waters and rebuild it, but it is clear to everyone that rebuilding Saturn will take a long time.

Also, the situation remains that all of Ginga‘s weapons are unusable. This is due to the fact that the Cosmo Reverse System affects the control systems of the ship itself, blocking the fire control system.

Length: 333m
Carrier-based aircraft/ships:
General-purpose space transport aircraft SC97 (Cosmo Seagull) × 2
Standard internal fireboat type 5 x 2, etc.

Armaments:
48cm triple-barrel positron shock gun turret x 3
Torpedo launch tube x 12 (bow and stern)
Torpedo launch tube x 16 gates (flanks)
Concealed anti-aircraft system (throughout the hull)

* Currently, none of this equipment can be used.

Chapter 2 update:

With the start of Operation DAD, Ginga was given the task of recovering the crew of the former 65th Escort Squadron. The original plan was for Ginga to join the hidden Yamato after retrieving the crew and become part of the anti-Dezarium fleet. However, in order to support the Asuka-class supply carrier Asuka, which was escaping from Earth, Ginga used a wave barrier to rush into the Dezarium fleet. But in vain, they end up crash-landing on the Third Baleras on the moon.

Due to the effects of the Cosmo Reverse System installed on Ginga, all of its artillery weapons were unable to be used. Despite this, it managed to fire its main guns once during the battle with the Dezarium fleet. This was because Lieutenant Kanzaki succeeded in accessing the Cosmo Reverse System and temporarily unlocked the fire control system. She was found injured and unconscious in the control room of the Cosmo Reverse System after the battle. The stranded Ginga is now under the supervision of a Dezarium-led special advisory body to the Earth Government.

Chapter 3 update:

Ginga is currently under the supervision of Dezarium, which has become a special advisory body to the Earth government.

Andromeda-class space battleship Alpheratz

Alpheratz is the 21st Andromeda-class ship, designed and completed as a crewed vessel. It is one of the very few Andromeda-class ships that survived the fierce battle against Gatlantis unscathed. After the war, Alpheratz underwent extensive repairs.

Most of the ships built between the end of the Gatlantis War and the abandonment of the Time Fault were completely unmanned ships controlled by the Time Fault’s AI, making it impossible for manned operations to take place without extensive renovations. For this reason, the Defense Forces decided to prioritize the repair and refurbishment of the early Andromeda-class ships that survived the Gatlantis campaign.

Under the reorganization of the Space Navy carried out under the principles of the 4th National Defense Plan, the ship type was changed to “Armed Vanguard Spaceship” at the time of the Wave-Motion Gun fleet concept, from the name “Space Battleship” that had been used since the time of the United Nations Space Navy. Additionally, several ships are being developed as “fleet command ships.”

Chapter 2 update:

Alpheratz is tasked with monitoring the Gaizengan Calaklum-class battleships floating around the 11th planet.

After investigating the Gaizengan captured after the Gatlantis War, they were found to be significantly different from known Gatlantis ships. The Gaizengan were created inside the Ark of Destruction, which was activated by Teresa’s energy, and some have suggested that they should be considered part of the Ark of Destruction. Due to the battle with the Earth-Gamilas Combined Fleet and the fact that the Ark of Destruction absorbed them when it was activated, there were almost no flawless Gaizengan inside Saturn’s orbit. However, there were many Calaklum-class battleships left around the 11th planet, whose engines had been shut down by Yamato through wave resonance.

The Defense Forces judged that it would be difficult to wipe them out in a short period of time with the remaining Wave-Motion Gun-equipped ships, and decided to station a monitoring fleet on guard around the 11th planet. The fleet is composed of patrol ships and escort ships, with Alpheratz as the flagship.

This area is commonly known as the Gatlantis Belt, and since the 11th planet is located on the outer edge of the solar system, it is frequently subject to territorial violations from the Bolar Federation. For this reason, the fleet is also tasked with patrol duties to watch out for incursions from other interstellar nations. Some say that the decision not to dispose of the Calaklum-class ships around the 11th planet is merely an official military decision, and that they are being preserved as research subjects into the legacy of the ancient Akerius civilization.

After their encounter with the Grand Reverse, Alpheratz and two other ships, which had lost communication, were discovered drifting in the Gatlantis Belt by Yamato and Asuka, which had launched from the Icarus Observatory. Although it was confirmed that all crew members were safe, their cognitive abilities were severely impaired. According to the hypothesis of Lieutenant Commander Shiro Sanada, this was the result of the “hyperon bomb” that reset the synaptic network in the brain.

The resetting of synaptic networks robs humans of their cognitive abilities. However, records of conscious actions taken up until the reset are stored in the hippocampus. Although the decline in frontal lobe function makes it impossible to act using the memory of the cerebrum, the crew’s routine actions related to survival, such as eating and excretion, were performed by the cerebellum referring to the short-term memory in the hippocampus. This is thought to be because, in order to sustain life, the brain temporarily replaced the functions of the frontal lobe with the hippocampus, and advanced neural circuit reorganization (neuroplasty) took place between the hippocampus and the cerebellum, with the two areas playing complementary roles.

Dreadnought-class, Mars Defense Front specs

One of the ships of the 28th Escort Squadron. It is said that camouflage, in which ships are painted mainly in red, the color of the land of Mars, was adopted by the Mars Autonomous Government Space Navy. (At that time, Mars was still in the process of terraforming, and the land was still red).

After the First Interplanetary War, the United Nations Space Navy was established in anticipation of another conflict with the Mars Autonomous Government, and many Space Navy ships were seen wearing similar camouflage. During the Garmillas War and the Gatlantis Campaign, Mars orbit was recognized as an important line of defense, especially during the White Comet’s invasion when it was established as the “absolute defense line.” Mars camouflage was adopted by the main ships that protect this line of defense, and has been inherited by the Space Navy as of 2207, although there are slight differences depending on the time.

Arizona-class space battleship Arizona

The construction plan for Arizona originated from the Earth evacuation plan formulated by the United Nations at the end of the Garmillas War.

In the late 2190s, the contamination of Earth caused by Garmillan planetary bombs spread, threatening the living space of humans who had taken refuge in underground cities. There was a limit to the expansion of underground cities, and humans were forced to leave Earth in order to survive. The United Nations ordered each administrative district to build emigration ships, and in the Far East District, the design of the ship that would later become Yamato progressed under the “Izumo Plan.” The Far East District, which suffered less damage than the other districts, completed the construction of the inner shell relatively smoothly. Eventually, when information about the Wave-Motion Engine and Cosmo Reverse System was brought to them by Iscandar’s emissary Yurisha, the “Izumo Plan” was integrated and converted into the “Yamato Plan.”

This was because while the emigration ships of the other districts were incomplete, only the Far East ship was at a stage where it could withstand the installation of the Wave-Motion Engine. As a result, supplies and personnel were concentrated on Yamato, and ship construction was halted in the North American District, even though the inner hull was almost complete.

After the war, the emigration ships were temporarily abandoned due to the use of the Time Fault, but with the formulation of the Fourth Defense Plan and the abandonment of the Time Fault, opposition to new battleships such as the Andromeda class grew, and the repurposing of old emigration ships was reconsidered as an alternative.

One of the ships whose construction was resumed under this plan was the emigration ship of the North American District, and it was given the name Arizona when the construction plan for it as a space battleship was drawn up. At this time, some of the basic design was changed, but the initial design concept remains as a characteristic of the ship.

In addition, the fact that Yamato was originally designed and built as an emigration ship, and the inner hull part, which was envisioned as a residential block, was very sturdy, was also one of the reasons for the reevaluation of the heritage of this era.

Arizona, whose construction was resumed, developed the inner hull and outer hull structure adopted in the Yamato type into a modular structure. The four outer hulls surround the inner hull, with the upper hull housing the deck armament and bridge tower, the lower hull forming the bottom of the ship, and the left and right hulls forming the sides housing the secondary guns. As a result, Arizona is envisioned as capable of retrofitting with new technology by changing modules when a new generation of ships is built.

The construction of Arizona was carried out at the North American Space Naval Shipyards up until the pre-outfitting stage, and it was then transported to the new capital for trial operation. In the new capital, outfitting work is taking place at the Nanbu Heavy Industries shipyard.
