Why didn’t you make the different components different colors? The ventral half is fine, but the dorsal section I would have made the deck a darker color, and the gun shrouds, for example, some color that was different than the metal used for the cannons themselves.
While this model does look good, and you did do a good job overall, it should have your own style to it because this ship is so iconic, it could never be mistaken for any other than what it is: Space Battleship Yamato.
Just to make sure you understand the context: this was built by a modeler in Japan and sold in an online auction. We don’t have a name to put on it, unfortunately.
