The ideal scenario I came up with since I love the Soviet Union and the Bolar Federation

See the original post here

Recently, I’ve been rewatching the second chapter of 3199, and the more I watch it, the more I feel it’s a shame to show the cool, Sovietized Bolar Federation as a pushover.

In the first place, judging from the story of Uralia’s light, it seems that the Bolar Federation has suffered a painful experience at the hands of Dezarium. In addition, Dezarium destroyed the Garmillan home planet and massacred 70% of the Garmillan people. I love President Dessler and the Soviet Union, so I want these two countries to join forces against Dezarium.

This time, I’m going to get a bit obsessive, but I thought of a scenario in which these two countries could form an alliance and fight together.

1) The capture of Boroze and Rebarus by the Galman-Garmillas Empire

Going against the wishes of Chairman Bemlarze, who overthrew the Bolar Empire and liberated the people of Bolar from oppression, Boroze and Rebarus “unilaterally” imposed oppression on the Garmillan home planet and also committed diplomatic disrespect against President Dessler, sparking the outbreak of war.

To clarify their responsibility, they are handed over to the Garmillan Empire. By having the Garmillan Empire itself execute these two men, who were symbols of hatred for the Garmillan people, it will increase President Dessler’s momentum.

Of course, there is no way that Boroze and Rebarus could rule unilaterally, but Dessler would be well aware that for the communist Bolar Federation, this is merely cutting off a lizard’s tail. However, the two are just being offered as sacrifices to make peace between the two nations.

2) Ceding Galman’s home planet to the Garmillan Empire and recognizing its sovereignty over half of the Milky Way Galaxy

As a condition for further peace, the Bolar Federation should make significant territorial concessions to the Garmillan Empire. Even though it is blessed with a vast territory and population, it will be difficult for the Bolar Federation to wage a two-front war against Dezarium and the Garmillans.

This is especially true for the Garmillan Empire, whose population has drastically decreased, and they will likely want to prioritize revenge against Dezarium, who massacred the Garmillans, over fighting the Bolar Federation.

3) The Garmillan Empire agrees to the above conditions and forms an alliance with the Bolar Federation against Dezarium

It goes without saying that Dezarium is the biggest threat to both nations. If the Bolar Federation, which started the war, makes concessions, this alliance, which also benefits the Garmillan Empire, should be easily established.

4) The Garmillan Empire accepts Director Todo’s defection and establishes a Free Earth Government on the Garmillan home planet

The Garmillan Empire rescues Director Todo from the Earth government, which has fallen under Dezarium’s control, and accepts his defection. Director Todo declares the establishment of a “Free Earth Government” on the Garmillan home planet, and the Garmillan Empire and the Bolar Federation recognize this as the official Earth government, forming a “triple alliance” between the Garmillan Empire, the Bolar Federation, and the Earth Federation.

5) Chairman Bemlarze leads the Bolar Federation fleet on Zespaze and heads for Dezarium’s home planet together with Yamato

It would be reassuring if Yamato were to sortie with a large Bolar Federation fleet, rather than as a single ship. Even if a Goruba appears, it would be easy to defeat with the black hole cannon.

6) Admiral Todo cooperates with the Garmillan Empire and aims to retake Earth

Admiral Todo then orders the Earth military, who are not happy with Dezarium’s rule of Earth, to assemble at the Garmillas home planet and retake Earth together with the Garmillan Empire fleet, equipped with the Hyper Dessler Cannon.

The Earth military that is allied with Dezarium will be recognized as a “rebel army” and will aim to annihilate them together with Dezarium. As the Garmillan Empire fleet and the Free Earth Government fleet approach Earth, the Free Earth Government partisans rise up en masse and aim to take control of the Grand Reverse.

7) Policies after the liberation of Earth

Dezarium collaborators such as Shinobu Todo and Kozo Nanbu are immediately arrested and executed for inciting foreign aggression. Dezarium civilians left behind on Earth are handed over to the Bolar Federation and sentenced to life-long labor in concentration camps.

8) Invasion of the Dezarium Home Planet

The combined fleet of Yamato and the Bolar Federation destroys Dezarium’s intermediate base, finds a way to break through the space-time node, and invades Dezarium’s home planet.

Using the black hole cannon, I think it would be easy to destroy Dezarium’s home planet, but it would be better to give Yamato and the Bolar Federation fleet a hard time and wipe out everyone except for Yamato and Zespaze.

9) Dessler Appears

Both Kodai and Chairman Bemlarze prepare for death, but at that moment, Dessler’s attack rings out. The Garmillan fleet makes a dashing appearance.

Dessler: “Sorry to keep you waiting, Kodai. And Bemlarze. I’ll take care of the Dezarium home planet!! Which religion should we observe for your funeral, Skaldart?”

Skaldart: “We’ll hold your funeral!!”

The Dezarium home planet is easily destroyed by the Hyper Dessler Cannon, and Dezarium is wiped out.

Not only Kodai, but also Chairman Bemlarze goes outside the ship and talks with Dessler. The friendship between Kodai and Dessler has evolved into a friendship between the three of them, including Chairman Bemlarze (lol). This would be the best scenario for the renewed, cool Bolar Federation to survive as well!!

Anyway, I hate Dezarium, so I want Earth, the Garmillan Empire, and the Bolar Federation to fight them. I hate Boroze and Rebarus, so I don’t mind them dying, but I want the renewed, cool Chairman Bemlarze and Darya to survive. Personally, I’d like to see a 3199 like this (lol).

Consideration of the space-time node and the location of Dezarium

See the original post here

As I have repeatedly written in this blog, the space-time node is probably the black hole that exists at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. There is a theory that if you pass through a black hole, you will enter another universe, so Dezarium probably exists in that other universe.

The universe in which Dezarium exists probably has a different flow of time than our universe. It may have the opposite flow of time to our universe. So Dezarium may know the future of the Earth, or it may be a parallel world 1,000 years in the future. In any case, I think there is a high possibility that the space-time node is a black hole and Dezarium exists in another universe.

From what Major Alphon said, it’s clear that the Wave-Motion Engine cannot cross space-time nodes, so it’s necessary to obtain the right engine somewhere. My guess is that the technology is preserved on the home planet of the Shalbart religion, which has existed since the time of the ancient Akerius civilization, and Yamato will retreive it.
Or perhaps the technology was on Iscandar, and the engine will be developed with the help of Sasha, who has inherited the memories of the Iscandarians.

Mother Dezarium calls Wave-Motion Energy an “abominable power,” so the use of Wave Energy polluted the universe in which Dezarium exists, and the effects of that pollution corroded the bodies of the Dezarians, forcing them to become cyborgs. Therefore, it is thought that they want Iscandar’s Cosmo Reverse to restore both the bodies of the Dezarians and the universe in which Dezarium exists.

If they only wanted bodies, they could have used Bolars instead of Earthlings. So the reason they chose Earth was probably because of Sasha, a fragment of Iscandar. From Dezarium’s point of view, their first goal is to restore their universe through the Cosmo Reverse, and if that doesn’t work, their plan B is to initialize the brains of Earthlings and write their memories into them. Either way, it’s clear that Dezarium, who looks down on Earth and Garmillas, doesn’t have the technology of Iscandar.

It’s clear from the previews for Chapter 3 that Sasha is in contact with Dessler, so she may provide not only the engine to overcome the space-time node, but also the technology for the Hyper Dessler Cannon to defeat a Goruba‘s armor.

I’d love to see the Hyper Dessler Cannon blow up a Goruba in retaliation against Dezarium, who massacred 70% of the Garmillan people!!

I’ve never seen an enemy as hateful as Dezarium in the Yamato series, so I’d like to see Earth, the Garmillan Empire, and the Bolar Federation form an alliance to fight Dezarium, with the motto “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Still, it’s a long wait, 3 months until the screening of Chapter 3. I wish spring would come soon…

The story of the Grodez-class annihilation battleship Grodez

See the original post here

Today I’m going to talk about the Grodez-class annihilation battleship Grodez.

In Be Forever, five Grodez-class ships set out from the Dezarium home planet and fired their Infinite Beta Cannons, but were engulfed by the new Wave-Motion Gun and were annihilated without a moment of highlight.

Be Forever was released in August 1980, but Yamato III began airing on TV in October 1980, so despite the title, it must have already been decided that a sequel would be made. So I think Be Forever was a hastily-made movie made to boost the TV series.

Goruba is resistant to the Wave-Motion Gun, but Grodez is not, and the Infinite Beta Cannon of five ships is easily defeated by the new Wave-Motion Gun. Even as an elementary school student, I thought that it would be much better to use the Goruba to defend the Dezarium home planet. Be Forever was poorly made in these areas as well.

Perhaps they learned from that experience, but the performance of the Grodez in 3199 has also been greatly improved. It is said to be capable of subspace diving, has defensive power and stealth capabilities comparable to Goruba, and has offensive power and maneuverability greater than the Pleiades.

3199 is a long series with 26 episodes, so there will probably be more scenes where the Grodez will be featured. However, since Grodez is a flagship, it may still be in the experimental stage and not yet mass-produced. Its description says, “Centuries have passed since the abandonment of Wave Energy, and there has been a great loss, and information from the old era has been lost.”

I don’t think Dezarium is the Earth of the future, but Dezarium’s technological capabilities are probably not overwhelming to Earth or Garmillas. Otherwise, it would be impossible to design a new battleship based on Yamato.

Another thing that surprised me was that the Grodez was equipped with aircraft. Certainly, if it is to rival Yamato, it will need aircraft, and it’s possible that it can operate alone. It’s also written that it has high maneuverability thanks to an auxiliary propulsion device.

This is going off topic, but as an adult, I’ve been thinking about something. Since there’s no gravity in space, wouldn’t large ships with high power be faster? So, if there really were to be a space war, I think the idea of big ships and big guns would be revived.

Also, it is said that the size of the universe at the time of its birth was 1 centimeter cubed to the power of 38, but isn’t it unnatural that all of the matter that makes up the universe today could be packed into that space? This is just my amateur opinion, but I think the universe is one of the 11 dimensions that exploded, spilled out, and unfolded in 3 dimensions.

Even if you gathered all the matter in the universe, it might be possible to pack it into 11 dimensions. And I think that the technology to go beyond space-time nodes is probably the same technology needed to travel to higher dimensions.

I once saw a YouTube video that said 3-dimensional matter cannot maintain its solidity in 4 dimensions. So, when you travel to higher dimensions and emerge in another universe, you just need to reconstruct the matter that was torn apart. I’m guessing that we’ll be able to learn that technique from Iscandar or Shalbart.

Well, that’s all for now.

What is the difference between a subspace ship and a dimensional submarine?

See the original post here

When I was writing the previous article on Yamato, I saw the description of the Grodez on the official website that says, “Like Goruba, it does not have a dimensional submarine function of its own, but is equipped with a capture field that allows it to dive into subspace.”

When I saw the dimensional submarine as an elementary school student, I didn’t think anything of it, and I grew up without thinking about it. Now that I’m an adult, I have some knowledge of space, although I’m an amateur. So I thought again, “What is dimensional submarine?”

I’m a bit busy, so I don’t have time to rewatch Yamato III, but wasn’t it a “subspace radar” that Sanada made when searching for the dimensional submarine? So I also thought that a dimensional submarine was a ship that could dive into subspace. However, in the above description, it is written that the Grodez is a “subspace submarine” and not a “dimensional submarine.”

If that’s the case, the dimensional submarine in the remake series would literally be a ship that dives into “another dimension.” Since diving into the second dimension would only cause deterioration, I guess that means the dimensional submarine dives into the fourth or fifth dimension. If you think about it objectively, isn’t this an incredible technology that even surpasses black hole cannons?

I’ve seen this video before (The fate of those who step into the 4th dimension), and it seems that matter in three-dimensional space cannot maintain its solidity in four-dimensional space. If that’s the case, then Garmillas’ dimensional submarine has the technology to maintain its solidity in four-dimensional space.

Specifically, it would be a technology that surrounds the dimensional submarine with a special barrier or something, and allows it to maintain three-dimensional space only within that range. I thought that the reason Dezarium made Grodez a subspace submarine instead of a dimensional submarine was because they didn’t have this special barrier technology.

If Dezarium has the technology for dimensional submarine travel, it would be natural for them to build a dimensional submarine ship rather than going to the trouble of making a subspace submarine ship. If you think about it that way, Dezarium has the technology to emit energy waves in another dimension and bring it into three-dimensional space, but they are unable to build a battleship that can operate in another dimension. Also, if they apply submarine technology in another dimension, wouldn’t it be possible to create something like a wormhole and enter another universe?

I don’t know what technology Dezarium used to come from another universe to ours, but just like Garmillas used a dimensional submarine to move the immigrant fleet from Iscandar, I think it would be fine to use a dimensional submarine to move the Garmillan Empire’s fleet to another universe. If they could just get to the universe where Dezarium exists, the Garmillas Empire has the Hyper Dessler Cannon, so it would be easy to destroy Dezarium, right?

Since Dezarium massacred 70% of the Garmillan people, they should retaliate like the Soviet army did when it invaded Germany. They should say, “Disinfect the filth!!” and burn the people on Dezarium’s home planet to death with the Hyper Dessler Cannon. Then turn the Dezarians left behind on Earth into slaves and work them to death to rebuild the infrastructure of the Garmillas Empire.

Anyway, Dezarium is the one race I will never forgive, so I really want them to do that!!
