3 thoughts on “Star Blazers Timeline

  1. I started living in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1979. That year, a local TV station, Channel 41, begins airing “Star Blazers”. It would be a great way to spend my afterschool hours watching the crew of the Argo battle the Gamilons and the Comet Empire in order to save Earth. I went on to have a collection of many VHS videos of the Star Blazers TV episodes (especially Series 3–The Bolar Wars) and a few Yamato movies including the English-dubbed “Farewell to Yamato”, which I liked the most. For my Birthday later this month, I will receive the Yamato/Star Blazers DVD documentary special narrated by the voice actor who played Derek Wildstar. It’s going to be a big thing when I receive it. Thanks, you made my memories fly like the Argo.
