Space Battleship Yamato Part 3: Be Forever Yamato Synopsis

The third Yamato film will be released on August 2. The Best One will introduce the entire story in three installments, starting this month. This is the first installment. What is the new crisis that attacks the Earth?

About a year after the battle against the Dark Nebula Empire at Iscandar, Earth has recovered from the wounds of destruction caused by the White Comet Empire Gatlantis. The entire solar system has been restored to its former tranquility, and people are now living in peace. The Earth fleet is completely unmanned and deployed to each planet under the control of headquarters.

However, a crisis is about to come to Earth. A giant missile, launched from somewhere, is approaching! The missile lands on Hero’s Hill near Megalopolis! But for some reason, it remains lodged in the ground and does not explode. At the same time, in response to the falling missile, a large fleet of mysterious ships approaches to surround the solar system!

What is their purpose? Can Earth’s unmanned fleet defend against the enemy ships? Yamato‘s crew is called to action!

For love and courage
– Yoshinobu Nishizaki

The main theme of Yamato part 3 is “love.” In the first and second films, the theme was “Can you die for the one you love?” This time, the theme is “Love is to believe in each other.”

Earth is a place where people believe in each other and live together. As long as we wish for that beauty to last forever, the future of humanity is immortal. “A future we build with our own hands for the sake of what we love and believe in.” — I hope to express that in Yamato this time. Please look forward to it!
