Her brilliant skills, which one would not expect from a newly-appointed captain, were praised both at home and abroad, but she was dismissed from the position due to the reorganization of the escort force.

One day, Dezarium’s invasion of Earth finally becomes a reality. As key locations are rapidly seized, Todo entrusts Yuki with the execution of a counterattack plan called “Operation DAD.” Yuki jumps into the flames of war in an attempt to escape Earth. Shima has been close to Susumu Kodai as a class rival, his first officer, and as his closest friend. The ship they board is always Yamato. The time has finally come for their relationship to change.
Kodai was held responsible for the “Iscandar Incident” and dismissed as captain. Shima was transferred to the Air Force. The Space Navy and Air Force have completely different ship design concepts and operational methods. Daisuke Shima, content with being treated as an outsider, is now trying to find his own path in the Air Force.
Chapter 1 update:
Captain of the Gladiator, a command ship for the air defense system
The Limited Autonomous Air Defense System, commonly known as the “Drone Fleet,” was developed independently by the Air Force using Shima’s expert piloting techniques. The reason behind Shima’s transfer to the Air Force was due to Serizawa’s decision to be wary of a “Dezarium traitor” lurking within the Space Navy. After two years of dormancy, Daisuke Shima now captains the command ship Gladiator, the lynchpin of the Unmanned Fleet, and takes on the Grand Reverse. However, an unexpected pitfall awaits them.
Ryusuke Domon
Voice: Tasuku Hatanaka
Tactical Officer, Tactical division → Accounting Division

After returning from the journey to Iscandar, which was also a training voyage for the Space Defense Academy, Domon and the other 38th class students returned to the Academy. A year later, they successfully graduated and were officially commissioned as officers, but the Yamato fleet was nowhere to be seen.
The fleet was reorganized after being held responsible for the “Iscandar Incident.” Most of the crew, including Kodai, Sanada, and Yuki, were relocated. Although Domon and the others were shocked, they departed to their respective posts, inspired by their experience in the Yamato fleet.

The impression of him as a resourceful man of action remains strong to this day, as he devises and personally carries out a rescue mission for Kodai, Shima, and the others who were left isolated and alone in the new capital city after it was taken over by the Dezarium army.

Former Yamato engineer, Engineering division
Rank: Third Lieutenant

He made a huge blunder by stalling the Yamato during the training voyage, but in the two years since then, Tasuke Tokugawa has changed significantly. He is currently on assignment to the Air Force with Shima Daisuke. He is expected to grow even further in this new environment.
Tasuke generally has a calm temperament and is a kind-hearted person who cares about his friends. That’s why his anger at the “wrong actions of his friends” is intense. Domon, Bando, and Sakamoto have all been hit by Tasuke’s “fist of anger” at least once.
Chapter 1 update:
Currently a member of the Earth Federation Air Force, Limited Type Independent Air Defense System command ship Gladiator engineer
He is aboard the Gladiator, the command ship of the Limited Autonomous Air Defense System, commonly known as the “Unmanned Fleet”. He demonstrates his impressive growth by controlling the engines of a total of 50 ships at the same time. Even when Gladiator‘s system goes down, he doesn’t panic and takes the best possible action to deal with the situation. It can now be said that he is more than a fully-fledged engineer.
A beloved character who makes those around him feel relaxed even in the worst of situations. Mikage Kiryu’s headlock when she reunites with him at “Hero’s Hill” is proof of this.

Heiji Bando is a very hot-blooded man who is intolerant of any irregularities, making it hard to believe he is an engineer. He is loose in his private life, but very serious about his work. By simply repeating calculations and practice, he steadily approaches results. He is a professional explorer who doesn’t mind taking detours.
Bando’s qualities are very similar to those of his father, who was killed in the battle with Gatlantis.
Chapter 1 update:

Sakamoto was once described by Captain Mori as “the type who rushes to die,” but how is his mental growth now that he has been officially appointed?
Chapter 1 update:
Currently a member of the 28th Escort Squadron, Combat Aircraft Carrier Hyuga, Tactical Department, Air Force Squadron
Sakamoto currently belongs to the air wing of the battle aircraft carrier Hyuga, which is captained by Hiroki Shinohara. The easygoing and affable Shinohara’s teaching philosophy is to “not put any more pressure on them than necessary, but simply to emphasize the importance of surviving.” Perhaps this “hands-off” approach suits Sakamoto. Although he still considers himself the number one fighter pilot, he’s no longer the type of person who “rushes to death.”
His reunion with the genius Takeshi Ageha – the only man he couldn’t beat during his days at the National Defense Academy – is fast approaching.

She met Shigeru Sakamoto during this period.
After entering the National Defense Academy, she took advantage of her physical ability and fighting sense and majored in space cavalry. At this point, Raiden, Nagakura and the others realize for the first time that there are many forces cooperating with the invading Dezarium.

They fired a volley of dispersion wave cannons, but it is ineffective and their defense line is breached.

After the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, it seems he’s no longer serving in the fleet.
Chapter 1 update:
Current Director of the Sado Clinic
Although he is a heavy drinker and has a tendency to be nasty, he is loved by all the crew as an all-around excellent doctor and is the “eldest member of the Space Battleship Yamato.” Following the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, he left military service and devoted himself to his role as director of the Sado Clinic.
Sado, who knows better than anyone the value of life and the impermanence of things, has been quietly enshrining the souls of his late friend Analyzer and his beloved cat, Mii-kun (who died at a ripe old age) in his home, in the hope that they will rest in peace.

Former Head of Yamato‘s security division
Rank: First Lieutenant
Date of Birth: September 23, 2181. Libra, 26 years old.
He is a good-natured young man, and his calm demeanor makes everyone around him let down their guard, but inside he hides an icy coldness. After the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, it seems he’s no longer on duty in the fleet. There are reports that he’s been promoted, but his current position is unknown. It seems his relationship with his wife, Yuria, is still very close after five years of marriage.

Served as vice commander of Yamato‘s Air Corps and captain of the Hyuga Air Force.
During the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, he was approached by Vice-Commander Serizawa to take over the position of Hyuga Captain. Although the requirement for an aircraft carrier captain is to have pilot experience, this was beyond Shinohara’s imagination. At first, he strongly expressed his intention to resign, but upon hearing of the “Operation DAD” concept, which centered on people with experience in fighting Dezarium, he accepted.
There is an anecdote that he approached Serizawa and said, “However, I won’t cut my hair. Is that okay?”

It is Shinohara’s innermost goal to achieve victory without sacrificing their lives. However, Hyuga is unable to stop the Grand Reverse’s invasion, and is also unable to escape from the Earth that has been occupied by Dezarium. Will the new Captain Shinohara and Hyuga be able to make a comeback?

Nagakura and her colleagues’ fears soon became reality in the worst possible way.
