Earth Defense Force/Upper Echelons
Heikuro Todo
Voice: Toshihiko Kojima
Commander-in-Chief of the Earth Federation Defense Force
Date of Birth: September 25, 2140. Libra. 68 years old
A former civilian official at the top of the Defense Forces. A person who quietly moves things from a big-picture perspective. He personally reorganized the 65th Escort Squadron, which had been established with Todo’s own initiative, and dismissed the captains, including Kodai. Although he has shown his responsibility for the “Iscandar Incident” both at home and abroad, Todo does not say much.
Saki Todo, the captain of the Experimental Wave-Motion ship Ginga, is his only daughter. He her Saki by himself in place of his wife, Chiaki, who passed away during the early years of the Garmillas War.
Chapter 1 update:
After receiving a top-secret report from Sanada, Todo and Serizawa begin work on the anti-Dezarium plan, “Operation DAD.” He reorganized the 65th Escort Squadron and officially dismissed the captains, including Kodai. Furthermore, following Sanada’s speculation, he secretly hid the Space Battleship Yamato and Sasha somewhere. They secretly mobilized various talents, including Seiya Kitano and Daisuke Shima, and continued to prepare for “that day”.
However, the defense force fell before the enemy’s thoroughness, which exceeded even Todo’s imagination. At the center of this invisible enemy is Todo’s own sister, Nobuno Todo.
Kotetsu Serizawa
Voice: Tessho Genda
Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Earth Federation Defense Force
Rank: General
Date of Birth: June 5, 2144. Gemini. 63 years old
An old and strong-armed “tiger of the defense forces.” Two years ago, Serizawa, who boarded Yamato as Earth’s plenipotentiary ambassador, was forced to leave the ship by Kodai and others who insisted on saving Iscandar. That was probably what Serizawa wanted, but after the end of the “Iscandar Incident” the situation changed dramatically.
After receiving all the reports, Serizawa himself recommended the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron. Was it a political purification that would convince people both at home and abroad? The day when Serizawa’s true intentions will be revealed is drawing near.
Chapter 1 update:
“Dezarium is coming. It’s definitely coming to Earth!”
After receiving a top-secret report from Sanada, Serizawa and Todo began work on a plan to counter Dezarium. All the while deceiving the Dezarium insiders among Earth’s society. And then, at last, that moment came. All the hidden forces came to the surface, and the Defense Force Headquarters fell. Even Todo and Serizawa’s “Operation DAD” was unable to repel the Grand Reverse.
But the eyes of the “Tiger of the Defense Forces,” Kotetsu Serizawa, are not dead. The battle has only just begun.

Rank: Commander, Third class
Date of Birth: November 14, 2176. Scorpio. 30 years old
Calculations for repairing the destroyed moon were carried out by Ginga‘s Cosmo Reverse System, which had lost most of its functionality. The Cosmo Reverse is now rooted in the entire system of the ship, and Ginga is unable to use its weapons as a result. Saki’s feelings are complicated, since she is in charge of a battleship that cannot fight. But…
“Is it okay to have at least one such ship…?”
The look in her eyes, now calmer than before, seems to be expressing Saki’s feelings.
Chapter 1 update:
In order to restore Saturn, which suffered tremendous damage in the interstellar war, Saki Todo is now leading the Restoration Fleet and conducting on-site investigations. Accompanying them on the flagship Ginga is Susumu Kodai, who has been dismissed from his position as captain of Yamato, assuming the title of “Saturn Restoration Project Inspector.” In the Saturn space region, a peaceful time flows, free from conflict.
However, this is shattered when Dezarium launches its invasion of Earth. How will Kodai and Saki, who is in charge of the battleship Ginga, which cannot use weapons, act?
Seiya Kitano
Voice: Kosuke Toriumi
Rank: Second Lieutenant
Date of birth: August 8, 2171. Leo. 36 years old
An excellent soldier who calmly discerns the subtleties of offense and defense. He is also extremely talented as a leader. During the Garmillas War, he was a candidate for the “Yamato Plan” but was injured in an accident and was unable to board the Yamato.
After the war, Seiya healed his wounds and returned to military service as an instructor at the Space Defense Academy. He devoted his efforts to nurturing the younger generation through strict guidance that earned him the nickname “Devil Kitano.” Domon and the others from the 38th class are Seiya Kitano’s “last students.” Tetsuya Kitano, who served as the tactical chief aboard Yamato, is his younger brother.
Chapter 1 update:
Second Captain of the Supply Carrier Asuka (DAOE-01)
He was an instructor at the National Defense Academy, but at the request of Commander-in-Chief Todo, he returned to the front lines as a key part of the countermeasures against Dezarium. He called his students, Domon and others, aboard the supply ship Asuka, where he serves as captain, to prepare for “that day.” The triple interception strategy of “Operation DAD” was planned by Seiya Kitano. Although he was unable to hold back the Grand Reverse, there is no doubt that he will play an important role in the upcoming battle against Dezarium.
Takeshi Ageha
Voice: Yuto Uemura
Rank: Third Lieutenant
Date of Birth: January 11, 2187. Capricorn. 20 years old
A student of the 38th class of the Space Defense Academy, a child prodigy who rose to the top of the flight department with the highest score in the history of the academy. In a mock air battle, he won 9 out of 9 games without allowing Shigeru Sakamoto to score a single point. He became the subject of many legends, but two years ago he dropped out of Space Defense Academy and disappeared, leaving Domon and his friends behind.
Perhaps because he grew up as the heir of the huge corporation Ageha Conglomerate, he has a unique sense of distance when it comes to socializing with others. He got along strangely well with Domon, and the two had such a bond that they called themselves “best friends.”

It is a difficult mission that doesn’t have a definite end in sight, but Kanzaki uses her natural logical thinking to deal with it and accumulate results. Her beauty is such that the young members of Ginga‘s crew whisper that she is “the witch of anti-aging.”
Chapter 1 update:
In order to support her captain, Saki Todo, Kanzaki always remains calm and logical. Her attitude gives the impression of being cold and machine-like to those around her. But deep in her heart, she constantly harbors human pain and the deep love of a mother.

When Kanzaki’s “heart” reaches her, something happens to the non-fighting battleship Ginga.

At that time, Ichinose was a young woman with a fierce side who was not satisfied with her own abilities and wanted to improve her reaction speed even if it meant mechanizing her body. Now, four years later, those thoughts are gone from her mind.
Her extreme sense of elitism has faded, and she has become able to look at things with an open mind. After all, people change.

After the end of the war, she was invited by Megumi Kanzaki to join the “G Plan”, promoted by the Far East District. She is involved in the development of tactical AI for the Experimental Wave-Motion Ship Ginga.
Kusakabe’s ability is recognized by everyone, but Ginga currently refuses to allow human fire control due to the influence of the Cosmo Reverse. As expected, Kusakabe is struggling with this.

Voice: Cho

Although it was developed as a “replacement part” with the same functions and memories as the first generation, he seems to be at a loss as to whether he is the same as the first generation. Is it really a coincidence that the rollout date is February 1st, the same as the first generation Analyzer? Is this some sort of revelation?
Chapter 1 update:

Yamato‘s new independent subframe calls out from the dark bridge of the Space Battleship Yamato. It is the legitimate successor to AU09 (original Analyzer), which was destroyed during the Gatlantis War, and inherits its memory data. I’m glad to see that Analyzer is back. I had nothing against the multi-colored variations that were in 2205, but his presence was sorely missed in that series. Looks like he’s going to have an interesting little arc in discovering himself and a reunion with Dr. Sado. In any case, I’m glad he’s back!
