Bandai made a grand total of ONE new kit for the last movie, an upgraded 1/1000 Yamato to replace their now-outdated 1977 version. Between this and constant reissues of earlier models, they saw little need for more, especially amid the explosion of “Real Robot” anime in the early 80s. It was up to garage kit makers to bring the other EDF ships to life in 3D, which they did with gusto.
Here are all known EDF models and toys to emerge from Final Yamato design works.

I’ve always felt that the battlescruiser had a French look to it, what with the all forwards main battery and aft catapult.
