What is Yamato’s fate?

Yamato 2, the story so far

The finale will be like this

Major reversal expected

The finale of the last Yamato movie brought tears to the eyes of a million young people. We’re curious about the finale of Yamato 2 on TV. Actually, it is said to be a little different from the movie…

First prediction: Will Kodai die like in the movie?

First of all, I predict that the main plot will be the same as the movie. As expected, Susumu Kodai is the only one who will share his life with Yamato. What is different from the movie, however, is the sense of tragedy. For example, it can be imagined like this…

Kodai rides alone on Yamato with the body of Yuki Mori by his side. Standing in front of him is the super-dreadnought battleship of the White Comet Army. Yamato, which has run out of energy, is further damaged by another attack. However, Yamato still pushes forward toward the White Comet. In its pilot’s seat, Susumu Kodai sits even after his death.

Second Prediction: Analyzer, who adores Yuki, will attack like a firefly…

Susumu Kodai is not the only one saddened by Yuki’s death. In a sense, the analysis robot Analyzer may grieve even more than the humans because he calmly analyzed Yuki’s death in a way that transcended emotions.

The next thing to consider is that Analyzer judges the situation calmly and holds Kodai back. “You still have a duty to watch over Earth until the end…” With these cool words, he steers Yamato toward the white comet. However, as a last hope, he may request to be allowed to act with Yuki.

Third Prediction: Teresa’s supernatural power saves Earth!

The most remarkable thing is Teresa’s existence. She was thought to have died with the planet Telezart at one point, but she is actually alive with her supernatural powers. Now it’s her turn to unleash her power for the good of the Earth.

She is, in fact, a symbol of the love of the universe itself. Teresa watches Kodai and the rest of the crew fight and die one by one for love and hope, then heads for the White Comet ahead of Kodai and Yamato. The last TV episode becomes an astonishing turn of events, transcending life and filled with cosmic mystery.

Fourth Prediction: Everything leads to a new battle for Yamato

The expected ending here makes us imagine a new drama that will unfold next. In other words, neither Yamato nor Kodai will die.

First, Kodai takes off alone with Yamato for the white comet. However, Mamoru, Susumu Kodai’s brother who lives with Starsha, appears in front of him. With his brother’s help (or maybe Starsha’s!), Yamato gains energy. Yamato engages in a fierce final battle with the white comet. The white comet then self-destructs.

On the other hand, Yamato, which has been damaged and cannot return to Earth, becomes a star and continues to wander to the edge of the universe.

The finale of Yamato2 is contemplated with one idea after another. Well, I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of shock will hit us!!
