It may have been a great plan of the gods that existed in the abyss of the universe, or on a far higher plane, still unknown to mankind.
When the Earth was a tiny planet of burning rocks that could not even be called the Earth yet, the universe was vast and infinite. Gazing out over every corner of the universe, the cosmic eyes of the gods were directed at the Milky Way Nebula.
It was a planet so small that it was nothing compared to the size of the universe. It rode a wave of time so slow and ancient as to be almost unmeasurable, but it was heading toward the solar system in the remote reaches of the galaxy. Its sphere glowed pale in the darkness like a ghost. Around it, rings of cold ice blocks, similar to rings of electrons, intersected each other.
If anyone but the cosmic eye of the gods could have seen the planet, they would have been horrified by its mysterious beauty.
It was the water planet Aquarius.
Aquarius was an interstellar seed. In its holy waters it contained the seeds of life, as precious as an entire galaxy.
Aquarius passed by the third planet of our solar system more than four billion years ago, when the Earth was only 500 million years old, still nothing more than a barren rock.
The gigantic figure of Aquarius floated into the dark sky over the colorless, rocky Earth, overwhelming everything. At that time the Earth shook greatly. Suddenly, a silver pillar extended from a part of Aquarius toward the ground. And with that, a spectacular global drama began.
It was a great pillar of water. The earth continued to tremble without rest, and thick dense clouds began to form in the sky above. Soon, endless torrential rains poured down. The colorless rocks quickly turned black, and the Earth was submerged in an enormous amount of water.
The silvery column of water looked like a massive chain connecting Earth and Aquarius. If anyone were alive to see it, the sight would take their breath away. Soon the water flowing from the pillar covered the surface of the planet like a living creature.
This flood was carried out on a planetary scale. It was too good to be coincidence. Was this all part of the great mystery of the universe and the natural order of things? No one can be sure of the truth anymore. This was in the distant past.
When the surface of the Earth was covered by water, the silver pillar was suddenly severed as if by an invisible axe.
Aquarius drifted away as if it had completed its task. Eventually, the Earth was left alone, orbiting the sun as it had done before. But in the holy water from Aquarius, a great change was about to take place. The sacred waters contained the seeds of life.
Earth was no longer a dead planet of mere rocks. It had been transformed into a living planet with oceans. On the surface of Mother Earth, that tiny sprout of life would transform little by little over eons of time.
Just like a baby growing in amniotic fluid…so was life in this ocean. Perhaps Aquarius was the father and Earth the mother. The water poured by the father awakened the Earth as a mother. The seed that he sowed brought forth the bud of a baby called life. The gods, or in other words, the universe itself, carried out the seeding plan! The legend of the interstellar seed!
Life took a long, long time to grow into bacteria, and then into fish, amphibians, reptiles, and finally mammals. Eventually, the children of life on earth grew up to become adults called human beings…but legend has it that father Aquarius visited Earth several times, as if he were checking on the growth of his own children.
About 350 million years ago, a great increase in water in the Carboniferous period of the Paleozoic Era spurred the development of amphibians. 100 million years ago, the Cretaceous ocean of the Mesozoic Era brought the dinosaurs from prosperity to extinction. And closer to home, about 3,000 years ago, was Noah’s Flood. Could these be the effects of Aquarius, the father of life on earth?

But now, the cosmic myth was about to become fact! The legendary planet Aquarius was on a huge elliptical orbit and once again approached Earth!
The year was 2203. People were completely unaware of this, still embraced in the warm bosom of Mother Earth.
