Garmillas Mecha

Neu Deusula

Dessler’s Flagship Revived with Gatlantis Technology

Neu Deusula is the new flagship of the Grand Garmillas Eternal Leader Abelt Dessler, rescued by Gatlantis. This ship was built by Gatlantis exclusively for Dessler.

Like the first class naval combat vessel Deusula II, the Neu Deusula consists of a core ship (independent command combat ship) seated in an outer shell. The core ship is the actual ship that was carried on the Deusula II and captured by Gatlantis while drifting.

The hull was built by Gatlantis based on data from the core ship. As a result of the introduction of both Garmillas and Gatlantis technologies, the characteristics of both forces coexist in the armament and appearance. This includes Gatlantis’ Goland Missile as armament and related systems, Garmillas’ Instantaneous Matter Transfer Machine, and the Garmillas Gesch-Dahlbam Wave-Motion Gun, also known as the “Dessler Cannon,” is mounted on the tower.

The scale of this project exceeded even the Deusula II and Zoellegut classes, making it essentially a royal palace that travels through space. It became the alter ego of Dessler.

Performance Specifications

Length: 768 m

ArtilleryWeapons:

1 Wave-Motion Gun (Gesch-Dahlbam, also known as “Dessler gun”)

480mm triple positron cannon turrets x 12
(upper and lower surfaces of both wings)

330mm triple-positron cannon turrets x 4
(upper rear of bridge)

8-barrel rapid-fire wheel-type turrets x 12

8-barrel anti-aircraft wheel-type turrets x 2

Goland Missile x 38 (maximum)

Ship Structure

The vessel has the characteristic appearance of both Garmillas and Gatlantis: a long and narrow central structure with hangars for the Dessler Gun and small and medium-sized craft, wing-shaped blocks on the left and right sides of the hull, etc. The reason for this is that Gatlantis built it using Garmillas technology. This trend is also evident in the armament. For the turrets, both the Garmillas-type three-barrel type and the Gatlantis wheel-type are used. The ship is huge, boasting an overall length and height greater than the Zoellegut class.

Subspace countermeasure system

In subspace, unusual events occur such as the nullification of beam weapons and the leakage of energy from Wave-Motion Engines, leading to many lessons learned. This ship has introduced a new system that takes operation in subspace into consideration. It enables stable control of the wave control engine, which is not affected by any space. It forms a warp grid at the Dessler cannon firing ports and engine jets. This technology maintains the state of normal space, and it demonstrated its true value in the battle between dimensions.

Attack power created by the fusion of Garmillas and Gatlantis

Neu Deusula was prepared for Abelt Dessler, a ship that took technology from both the Garmillas and Gatlantis sides. In addition, by incorporating Dessler’s own new proposals, the ship acquired a size and functionality that surpassed its predecessor, the special first-class naval combat ship Deusula II.

One example is the Instantaneous Matter Transfer Machine mounted on this ship, based on the “transfer thrower” used in the “Direct Flame Cannon” of the Medalusa class annihilation-type heavy battleships. The equipment was put to practical use independently, and its transmission distance and accuracy were improved. The equipment was introduced to this ship with a higher degree of perfection. The Goland Missile, used in surprise attacks, is also a Gatlantis-derived weapon.

The fusion of Garmillas and Gatlantis can be seen not only in the construction techniques but also in the operational concept. With its offensive capability, this ship can toy with Yamato single-handedly, showing Dessler’s insatiable tenacity.

Artillery Weapons

Neu Deusula‘s gunnery weapons are basically the same as those of Deusula II, but with the addition of Gatlantis-style weapons to enhance firepower. The main turret, a 480mm triple-positron cannon turret, has an extended barrel to improve striking power. The increased size of the hull, coupled with the increased number of guns and other weapons, gave it a combat power far superior to that of existing naval vessels.

Space combat fighter DWG 262 Czvarke, Embassy personnel-only aircraft

Specs of the Garmillas embassy fighter that fought together with Yamato

The DWG262 Czvarke is a special plane for embassy staff. It was flown by Lieutenant Klaus Keyman, the military attaché at the Garmillas Embassy of Earth. The Czvarke itself is a mainstay fighter of the Garmillas military, which was already in operation during the previous war. It has both heavy armament and advanced combat performance. It has a proven track record in many operations as a ship-borne fighter for air groups and naval vessels. When compared to the DDG110 (Zeadler II) and the DWG109 (Debakke), it is considered to have superior overall performance.

The “embassy-specification” aircraft, also known as the “embassy fighter,” was designed exclusively for embassy use. It accompanied Keyman when he was transferred to the embassy on Earth’s Moon. It is characterized by the elimination of military colors and the painted patterns on each part of the aircraft. Its performance is considered equivalent to that of the military type. Keyman used it to join Yamato, which left Earth in rebellion. It was operated as a shipboard aircraft from Yamato.

In the previous war, Ensign Melda Dietz, who became a liaison officer, had her red version taken aboard Yamato, so the Czvarke is a Garmillas aircraft that has a close connection with Yamato.

Performance Specifications

Type: Space combat fighter
Overall length: 15.58m
Overall width: 7.5m
Crew: 1
Main Armament: 4 cannons
6 machine guns
6 air-to-air missiles

Hull Structure

Although the Czvarke is known as a space fighter, it is also designed to operate in atmosphere. Aerodynamic devices such as canards under the nose, blended swept wings, and four tail fins (top, bottom, left, and right) make the aircraft highly maneuverable not only in space but also in atmosphere. The model for embassy personnel, which has the same shape as the military model, is characterized by its unified white paint scheme. Even the air-to-air missiles are painted in the same color. (The unified color for the aircraft and missile is the same as Melda’s aircraft from the previous war).

Pattern

Another feature other than the white coloring is the patterns on each part of the fuselage. This design seems to be rooted in Garmillas culture. It is usually seen on the Zoellegut-class first class naval combat ships and on high-grade weapons such as the “Garmillas Subject Wall.” It is rare to see it used on a fighter aircraft. It is assumed that this is due to its privileged position as an aircraft reserved for embassy staff, and for identification purposes. However, it is also possible that Keyman’s “special background” may have something to do with it.

Garmillas’ mainstay fighter aircraft, which achieved success in two campaigns

Klaus Keyman flew the DWG 262 Czvarke, a space fighter dedicated to embassy personnel. It fought in the Battle of Gatlantis as one of Yamato‘s onboard fighters, and achieved considerable results. Its achievements were comparable to those of the Type 1 Cosmo Tiger II, a new Earth-made aircraft at the time.

During the Garmillas War, this aircraft was operated as the main fighter of the Garmillas Army, producing many ace pilots. Some of them were said to apply their own tuning to their aircraft. It is not known if the same was true of Keyman’s model when he was posted to Earth as a military officer on assignment. However, it is certain that Keyman was a pilot with excellent flying skills, great enough to impress even Saburo Kato, commander of the Yamato squadron.

The specifications of this aircraft are said to be equivalent to those of the military model. The internal structure of the cockpit was the same as that of the aircraft used in the previous war. The many successes this aircraft had during the Battle of Gatlantis were due in large part to Keyman’s skill.

Cockpit

The Czvarke is a single-seat, dual-purpose aircraft, with the cockpit located slightly forward of the fuselage. The cockpit is a standard type with a single stick-type control stick and two pedals for basic aircraft control. The passenger’s body is fixed to the seat by a back connector on the pilot suit. The canopy is an integrated type with a hinge at the rear, featuring a smooth shape that matches the fuselage outline.
