The day of launch has finally arrived!
It starts with an anchorage off the coast of Shizuoka. Yamato, wounded after the fierce battle with the White Comet, is embraced by Earth’s ocean and enjoys a brief moment of peace. But this does not guarantee peace forever. Yamato is now busy training a new crew to meet new invaders. The many wounds sustained in the battle against the White Comet have been repaired. All that remained is for Yamato to take a test flight.
